About the Brotherhood

Serving the Church as brothers.

A fellowship of Orthodox Christian men dedicated to parish service, mutual support, and faithful stewardship in Meriden, Connecticut.

Mission

The Brotherhood exists to provide stewardship to the parish community through the giving of time, effort, and resources, and to provide fellowship among the men of the parish, their families, and the broader parish community.

Our renewed working statement is simple: the Brotherhood is the men of Saints Peter & Paul serving Christ, strengthening the parish, and supporting one another as brothers.

What membership means

  • Show up for prayer, work, meetings, and fellowship.
  • Use your time, skills, and strength for the good of the parish.
  • Support brothers practically, not only socially.
  • Act in a charitable, respectful Orthodox manner.

The four pillars

Fellowship

Building relationships among the men of the parish through meals, outings, shared work, and honest brotherhood.

Service

Serving Christ by strengthening the parish, caring for the cemetery and grounds, and showing up when help is needed.

Stewardship

Offering time, strength, skill, attention, prayer, and resources for the good of the Church and the community.

Formation

Growing together in Orthodox Christian life under the blessing and pastoral guidance of the Church.

Our patrons: Saints Peter and Paul

Saints Peter and Paul are icons of courage, repentance, witness, sacrifice, and apostolic labor. Their feast gives the Brotherhood its name and shape: men called to serve, build, teach, repent, and remain faithful.

The Brotherhood should feel Orthodox not merely because of design, but because its life is ordered toward Christ and the Church.
